Our Story
KAR Medical Care was founded in 2023 by Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, after years of practicing hospital medicine. The transition to outpatient care was driven by something meaningful — patients who trusted her during some of their most vulnerable moments wanted to continue that relationship beyond the hospital walls.
That trust became the foundation of everything we’ve built.
In just a few years, what began as a single practice grew into a two-location provider serving the greater Northern Virginia community. We opened our Springfield location in September 2025 because our patients asked us to — and because expanding access to quality care is at the heart of why we do this work.
